About William May
After 20 years as an Investment Banker, Advertising & Marketing Consultant, Business Broker and investor in privately-held businesses, William May certainly has a story to tell. He has started or owned parts of over a dozen companies. He has consulted with and advised hundreds of clients. In speaking engagements around the country, as well as in articles and speeches he reveals the secrets that have made him an authority on the subject of buying and selling businesses.

Not just a business expert, William has also been a writer, professional musician, collegiate actor of the year and (believe it or not) ballet dancer. It's that kind of training that gave him the speaking skills to construct presentations as entertaining as they are informative for corporate executives, individuals and even other business brokers.

His subject matter varies with the audience, but is always targeted to the listeners and right on the money. He is careful to warn audiences about ideas that don't work as well as to encourage those that do. An admitted learnaholic, he is often referred to as the Dean of American Business Brokers.
